Terms and Conditions
Please note that once you have placed and order with African and Caribbean Delights you have agreed in full to the terms and conditions outlined below. Therefore we advise that you read these terms and conditions before placing your order.
Making an order:
Orders should be placed at least one week before your event.
A 50% down payment is required to confirm your order. This must be made one week before the event.
Order cancellation:
A complete order cancellation is only possible at the latest three days (72 hours) before the date and time of delivery.
To cancel an order you must make phone contact with us within the time stated. Once this is done you are entitled to a full refund of your down payment.
If you cancel your order between 71-24 hours before your event, a partial refund of 50% of your down payment will be made to you. We are sorry that a full refund is no longer possible as we would have already incurred expenses for your order in material and labour.
Less than 24 hours or same day cancellation will result in no refund of your down payment.
We do recognize that in some cases an event may have to be postponed. We are willing to work with you if such arises. Please call us directly so we can discuss this with you.
Please note though that we reserve the right to cancel your order if unforeseen circumstances arise. You will receive notice of this at the earliest time possible. In this case you are always entitled to a full refund.
Last minute and small orders:
In most cases these are possible. Please contact us directly via phone and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Payment:
The 50% payment must be made to the bank account outlined on the website. Thereafter, you will receive a confirmation of this payment, binding our contract with you to deliver the service requested.
Balance payments should be made within 24 hours after delivery. This can be made as cash on delivery or via our account. (Sorry, we cannot accept cheques or credit card payments)
Delivery:
We always make your order available to you for pick-up. The pick-up location will be provided when your order is confirmed. Delivery is possible within Limburg, however there may be an additional fee for this delivery. *This fee is dependent on your location and the value of your order. However we are happy to say that once you reside within 15 km of Maastricht, delivery is free!
Your order will be appropriately and professionally boxed and packaged for delivery. If you require special arrangements on platters or additional garnishing of your order, please discuss this with us when making your order.
Although we aim for consistency, the order you receive may differ slightly in appearance to the photos shown on the website but will be equally visually appealing.
Extra Services:
If full service at your event is required, please discuss this with us when placing your order. Please note that this will be at an extra cost, dependent on how many servers you need and for how many hours they are required.
